Carntyne Care Home
Our Wish For You...
The staff of Carntyne wish to meet your deepest needs - the need to be respected, esteemed and loved, the need at times to be private, and above all to continue to choose for yourself. In short we respect your need to be you, a person fully alive, with your memories of the past and you aspirations for the future.
Carntyne has an outstanding situation in the centre of the attractive old market town of Hexham, overlooking the park and historic 7th century Abbey and grounds. The house has mature walled gardens of over an acre with two summer houses. It is within very easy walking distance of churches, shops, banks and the town Library and Arts centre.
Our aim is to offer you the care you need in a happy and natural atmosphere where your individuality is respected. We feel that it is important that you retain a sense of freedom and control of your life as long as you can. We aim to create as homelike an environment as possible, where appropriate care is given in a way which preserves personal freedom and self determination.
